New Textiles & Wallpapers from James Malone Fabrics at Thomas Lavin
At the southernmost point of Europe, nestled between mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, lies the headquarters of James Malone Fabrics, surrounded by bougainvillea and olive trees. His creations have absorbed the fusion of cultures, a culmination of experiences, childhood memories blended with his life in Andalusia. His collections carry the winds of the west and east, strokes that evoke the African horizon and the meeting of the Mediterranean and Atlantic seas.
Natural fibers like linen, wool, and bamboo are integrated into unconventional prints, sometimes complemented by structured jacquards that incorporate tribal accents, all forming part of James Malone Fabrics’ unique characteristics. The collection is enriched with intricately constructed solids, fantasy-infused voiles, and wallpapers inspired by their textile designs.
