Thomas Lavin Introduces First-Ever Passementerie Collection from Christopher Farr Cloth

Thomas Lavin is pleased to introduce the very first passementerie collection from Christopher Farr Cloth created in collaboration with Kit Kemp. Drawing inspiration from the textiles Kit loves, such as Travelling Light, as well as the British abstract artist Terry Frost, renowned for his use of colour and shape, stirred by the Cornish landscape and even a chunky ribbon motif hidden in a drawer. The Collection highlights the creative craftsmanship of hand embroiderers in Kerala, India who responded to these designs and applied their own creative interpretations. The weaves are graphic and fun and the trims are striking—including Pop Art, shown here. Click here for more information
