Join Markowicz Fine Art for our “2nd Thursday – Art After Hours” on September 14 from 5–7 PM!

This month we will feature artworks by American sculptor Carole A. Feuerman and French mixed media artist Cédric Bouteiller. Carole Feuerman is an American sculptor and author working in Hyperrealism. She is one of three major artists credited with starting the movement in the late 1970s. Carole is the only artist to make realistically painted outdoor sculptures and the only woman to sculpt in this style. Known for her sensuous themes of swimmers and bathers, complete with translucent water drops, her work takes the concept of “art imitating life” to a new level.

Cédric Bouteiller is a French multidisciplinary urban artist known for his complex and layered mixed-media works. His multifaceted work often includes photography, graffiti, and graphic design layered on resin-lacquered aluminum. By reversing the familiar space of the modern concrete jungle into a fusion of abstractions and urban iconographies, he gives a new rhythm to the city and invites us to feel this timeless urban symphony.

Come on down to Markowicz Fine Art for some great music, a glass of wine, and good conversation with other Southern California creatives, and join us on the 2nd Thursday of every month when we will feature new artists and artworks at “Art After Hours!”
