When you touch alpaca yarn and feel the softness in your hands, the stunning natural colors, there is nothing more inspiring for a weaver than that. We fell in love with alpaca yarn at first sight. Its unparalleled softness and sophisticated look have been a favorite among high-end fashion brands. Yet, its use outside of the fashion industry is somewhat sporadic. With the support from local artisans and the business community, JD Staron decided to develop alpaca rugs, creating the finest, softest carpets ever made.
