A Conversation with Vern Yip at Harsey & Harsey

On February 18, Harsey & Harsey (Suite 175) welcomed Atlanta, Georgia-based American celebrity designer Vern Yip to their showroom for an intimate evening of conversation and a cocktail reception highlighting his amazing career.

Harsey & Harsey owner Darren Sandberg and showroom manager April Lead welcomed an energetic crowd who dined on gourmet small bites and sipped wine while perusing Harsey’s newly expanded showroom. The evening with Mr. Yip was a huge success concluding with smiles all around.

Vern Yip is known for his periodic appearances on TLC’s Trading Spaces through its fourth season, and for frequently including silk, candles and flowers in the rooms he designed. He sits on of the panel of judges on HGTV’s Design Star, and has hosted four seasons of HGTV’s show Deserving Design. Yip recently hosted an HGTV special called Urban Oasis, in which he designed a Chicago loft in the Trump International Hotel, to be given away to a contest winner.
