New From Gaston y Daniela – Maiorica at Kravet

Maiorica is inspired by the traditional and authentic Ikats of Mallorca, better known as Robes de Llengües. Ikats come from an age-old technique of dyeing and weaving that can be found from Southeast Asia and Central America to Japan. Since the middle of the 20th century, this tradition has primarily survived in Majorca, becoming a symbol of the island. The wonderful tradition of the Majorcan silk fabrics and the artistic technique born in the 16th century were a source of inspiration for this new collection by Gastón y Daniela.
