Familiar Faces from Area Environments is now at Thomas Lavin
Area Environments is pleased to introduce the 2021 Fall Collection: Familiar Faces, available now at Thomas Lavin. At Area’s core is the respect and support of working artists. This fall, they put their money where their mouth is by turning back to their current roster of artists, focusing solely on new works they have created. In keeping with Area’s signature feel, this collection showcases rich and moody colors combined with texture and movement. Expect to see new work by artists Doug Glovaski, Michael Cina, Eric Blum, Karen Darling, Stefan Gevers, Emily Donovan, Karen Margolis and others. The Minneapolis-based creative studio Area Environments curates original work from contemporary artists to produce exclusive wallpapers and large-scale murals. Founded in 2012 out of a shared adoration of fine art, Area’s unique approach to creating wallcoverings continues to be fueled by this passion, alongside an obsession with quality and a desire to challenge the link between art and environment. Participating artists are from all over the world. Their wide-ranging artistic voices, stories, and talents have allowed the company to build consistently compelling collections. Area honors each artist’s individuality and work by maintaining the integrity of their original pieces, as well as compensating them with a portion of each sale.
